Qualifications
- Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent required
- College Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Health Administration, Environmental Services, or related field preferred
- Certification in Healthcare Environmental Services (e.g., CHESP) preferred
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environmental services leadership role
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention/control standards
- Proven leadership in unionized environments
- Budgeting and resource planning experience
- Familiarity with quality improvement processes and tools
- Excellent attendance and discipline free record required
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
