Qualifications

• Ontario Secondary School Diploma, or equivalent required
• College Diploma or Undergraduate degree in Health Administration, Environmental Services, or related field preferred
• Certification in Healthcare Environmental Services (e.g., CHESP) preferred
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a healthcare environmental services leadership role
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention/control standards
• Proven leadership in unionized environments
• Budgeting and resource planning experience
• Familiarity with quality improvement processes and tools
• Excellent attendance and discipline free record required
• Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills
• Demonstrated problem solving and organizational skills
