About the Role
Refresco seeks a Production Supervisor to lead and direct shift teams in a beverage manufacturing environment. You will ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, manage schedules, and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, GMPs and PPE requirements
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety standards
- Lead and direct the work of other employees
- Conduct daily meetings with shift leads to identify and resolve issues
- Draft and post weekly employee schedules based on production requirements
- Collaborate closely with all departments to improve quality, drive efficiencies, increase yields
- Perform and provide training on changeovers
- Record all necessary information for production and quality records
- Perform minor machine maintenance and preventive maintenance
- Conduct required GEMBA walks through the plant
- Facilitate and/or provide training and cross training
- May be designated to oversee a specific plant area, such as blow molding
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably beverages
- Experience in a fast moving packaged goods environment
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Must be available for shift work
- Forklift certification may be required
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Business or related discipline preferred
- SAP prior experience a strong asset

About the Role
- Leads and directs the work of other employees. Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
Essential Job Functions
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements.
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per the standard(s) provided by corporate, customer, and/or governing bodies (ex. SQF).
- Leads and directs the work of other employees.
- Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions.
- Conduct daily meetings as required with shift leads to identify and resolve issues.
- Draft and post weekly employee schedules based on production requirements and communicate with the department manager, regarding problems or changes that may be necessary.
- Collaborate closely with all departments to improve quality, drive efficiencies, increase yields, and eliminate out of specification or damaged products.
- Operational knowledge of manufacturing processes as well as other ancillary or offline related equipment.
- Following standard operating procedures and reading both imperial and metric measurements, perform and provide training on how to perform changeovers efficiently and carefully.
- Record all necessary information for production and quality records. Keep accurate downtime reports and documentation.
- Possesses a practical understanding of SQF and HACCP and can address inquiries related to both.
- Ability to read, comprehend, and adhere to a production manufacturing schedule, SOP’s, and effectively communicate issues or deviations with the appropriate parties and respond to inquiries.
Required Skills
- Experience in a fast moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred.
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues.
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Forklift certification may be required.
- Must be available for shift work.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Business or related discipline preferred.
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably beverages.
- SAP prior experience a strong asset
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: CAD 74,057 CAD 92,568, plus eligibility for performance based bonuses
- Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days, Afternoons, and Nights)

Working Conditions
- Work environment: rapid, often demanding environment with noise levels requiring hearing protection
