About the Role
Refresco is hiring a Production Supervisor in Mississauga to lead shift teams in a beverage manufacturing environment. The role involves overseeing production processes, ensuring safety and quality compliance, and driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and PPE requirements
- Adhere to and ensure compliance to food quality and food safety as per standards
- Leads and directs the work of other employees
- Have some authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance, or disciplinary actions
- Conduct daily meetings with shift leads to identify and resolve issues
- Draft and post weekly employee schedules based on production requirements
- Collaborate closely with all departments to improve quality, drive efficiencies, increase yields, and eliminate out of specification or damaged products
- Operational knowledge of manufacturing processes and ancillary equipment
- Perform and provide training on changeovers efficiently and carefully
- Record all necessary information for production and quality records
- Possess practical understanding of SQF and HACCP
- Perform minor machine maintenance and preventive maintenance
Requirements
- Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent (GED) required. Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Food Science, Business or related discipline preferred
- Minimum 3 5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably beverages
- SAP prior experience a strong asset
- Experience in a fast moving packaged goods environment, beverage production experience preferred
- Solid understanding of production machinery/forklifts, including an awareness of technical issues
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure
- Forklift certification may be required
- Must be available for shift work

Working Conditions
- Rapid, demanding environment with noise and temperature variations.

- Floor Presence Expectation: minimum of 75%.
Pay and Benefits
- Pay Range: CAD 74,057 CAD 92,568, plus performance based bonuses.
- Shift: Rotating Shifts (Days, Afternoons, and Nights).
