Supervisor (FIFO)

We are actively seeking a Civil Supervisor to oversee and deliver packages works for one of WA’s Tier 1 mining operators. You will be working a 2:1 FIFO roster and you will be responsible for leading an established team on an 18-month planned project.

Offered as a full time and permanent position , you will be responsible for:

Work closely with the Superintendent and other key stakeholders in delivering your allocated work scope safely, on time and to the required quality standards

Actively drive safe outcomes in undertaking all activities by ensuring that the BMD safety and cultural behaviours are applied by the team

Contribute to and support short and medium-term planning and scheduling for your works area with respect to the overall project requirements

Work closely with all other stakeholders across the Project site in achieving required outcomes

Effectively planning works in your allocated area

Manage and lead direct labour teams as well as contracting groups

Provide a productive team environment where high morale contributes to the overall success of the project

About you Great people skills and the ability to build trust is a must backed by strong communications skills. You may also:

Have 5 years+ supervisory experience ideally within the construction and/or resources sector

Previous civil/earthworks project experience

Ability to work collaboratively and positively with a range of internal and external stakeholders;

Strong attention to detail with the ability to problem solve;

Proven communicator who can lead and positively influence those around them.
