Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily floor operations and ensure the restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Lead and motivate waitstaff, hosts, and bussers to deliver exceptional service.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and address concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and sanitation standards.
• Coordinate seating and guest flow to optimize table turnover and minimize wait times.
• Train, develop, and evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist with ordering and restocking supplies and support inventory management.
• Ensure restaurant policies and procedures related to service and employee conduct are followed.
• Help implement marketing and promotional initiatives to drive sales and guest engagement.
• Assist with the restaurant budget, including labor costs and expenses.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to support smooth communication and timely food delivery.

Requirements

• Proven supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a hospitality management degree is a plus.
