Responsibilities
- Manage the day to day operations of the supermarket, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Oversee inventory management, including purchasing, stock replenishment, stock control, and minimizing inventory losses
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and fully compliant with health, safety, and hygiene standards
- Resolve customer complaints and inquiries promptly while maintaining high customer satisfaction
- Lead, supervise, and motivate store employees to achieve operational and business objectives
- Prepare staff schedules and ensure adequate manpower planning
- Conduct recruitment, interviews, hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and performance evaluations
- Drive sales growth and ensure the achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
- Plan and implement merchandising, pricing, and promotional activities to maximize sales and profitability
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions where necessary
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Prepare and analyze reports related to sales, inventory, shrinkage, staffing, and store performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum 6 years of experience in supermarket or retail management, with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong leadership, people management, and decision making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Good analytical and problem solving skills
- Proficiency in retail management systems and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong understanding of inventory control, merchandising, and customer service best practices

Job Overview
- We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and results driven Supermarket Manager to lead our supermarket operations.
- The Supermarket Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, achieving sales targets, managing staff, maintaining operational excellence, and driving overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Management: Manage day to day operations, oversee inventory management, ensure store cleanliness and compliance, resolve customer complaints, monitor performance.
- Staff Management: Lead, supervise, and motivate employees; prepare schedules; conduct recruitment, training, and performance evaluations; foster a positive work environment.
- Sales and Customer Service: Drive sales growth, achieve targets, maintain exceptional customer service, build customer relationships, plan merchandising and promotions, monitor KPIs.
- Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with policies and regulations, prepare and analyze reports, conduct operational audits, ensure food safety and workplace safety.
- Marketing and Promotions: Plan and execute in store promotions, ensure attractive displays, coordinate with marketing team, monitor effectiveness.
- Problem Solving and Decision Making: Identify challenges, implement solutions, handle emergencies and escalations.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Provide strategic leadership, coordinate with departments, conduct staff meetings, promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Requirements
