Omega Morgan is looking for a Superintendent who can see the whole job, communicate constantly, stay ahead of what’s coming next, and make sure the work is carried out safely and effectively.

For a Superintendent, that means working where planning becomes execution.

Safe, efficient, and effective field execution.

Daily coordination among dispatch, foremen, crews, project managers, sales, and customers.

Understanding the schedule and making sure crews receive timely instructions.

Enforcing safety protocols and identifying potential hazards.

Making sure foremen complete required pre-task meetings and JSAs.

Ensuring crews arrive at customer sites with the correct tools and equipment.

Helping crews obtain additional tools and equipment when conditions change.

Coordinating load requirements, equipment specifications, lifting points, site conditions, and crew availability.

Overseeing inspection, maintenance, and repair of rigging and lifting equipment.

Supporting compliance with DOT requirements, manufacturer recommendations, and applicable industry regulations.

Leading riggers, signal persons, crane operators, and other field personnel.

10+ years of experience in rigging operations.

Strong background in machinery moving, construction, industrial settings, or a related heavy-industry environment.

In-depth understanding of rigging techniques, equipment, and best practices.

Familiarity with crane operations.

Understanding of load calculations and lift planning.

Strong commitment to safety procedures and regulations.

Demonstrated leadership and team-management skills.

Strong verbal and written communication.

Analytical and problem-solving ability.

Ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and maintain accurate documentation.

You see what needs to happen before someone asks.

You can give clear direction without creating unnecessary drama.

You understand that safety and production are not competing priorities.

You respect experienced field people and know how to get the best from a crew.

When the plan changes, you start solving rather than explaining why it can’t be done.

You know what’s happening, what’s supposed to happen next, and who needs to know when those two things stop matching.

This is field leadership.

You’ll deal with changing conditions, competing priorities, equipment issues, people issues, customer expectations, and decisions that sometimes have to be made quickly.

The work is demanding because it matters.

Field work, customer sites, schedule flexibility, and travel should be expected.
