BUILT FOR BIG WORK

Come make something happen in the real world.

Good crews don’t lead themselves.

Omega Morgan is looking for an experienced Foreman who understands the work well enough to organize it, the people well enough to lead them, and the responsibility well enough to keep safety at the center of both. You’ll assign work, guide crews, solve problems as they arise, and help make sure complicated industrial projects get completed safely and efficiently.

About Omega Morgan

Omega Morgan helps industry move. Since 1991, we’ve grown into a 1,000+ employee industrial-services company with locations across the U.S. and Canada. Our teams solve complex industrial moving, lifting, transportation, machinery-moving, and logistics challenges.

That work depends on field teams who know how to turn planning into execution. The Foreman is one of the people who makes that happen.

What You’ll Own

Assigning employees to specific tasks based on the needs of the job and the strengths of the crew.

Directly supervising field crews.

Planning, assigning, and directing daily work.

Enforcing Omega Morgan and customer safety policies and procedures.

Training and developing employees.

Addressing performance, crew, and field issues as they arise.

Using basic and advanced rigging techniques.

Reading and creating drawings and lifting plans.

Understanding the tools and equipment required for the work.

Operating tractor-trailers and other necessary equipment where qualified and required.

Working directly at customer sites.

Helping ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently.

Here’s What’s Required

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education and experience.

Approximately 4–5 years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination.

Strong working knowledge of rigging practices.

Ability to read and create drawings and lifting plans.

Ability to lead, assign, and prioritize crew work.

Ability to enforce safety procedures consistently.

Ability to travel, work out of town, work weekends, and work overtime as required.

Ability to work effectively at customer locations.

You’ll Probably Thrive Here If

You know the work well enough to recognize who should be doing what.

You lead by being present.

You’re comfortable giving clear direction and receiving it.

You expect people to work safely because you do too.

When the crew looks to you for the next move, you’re ready to make the call.

THE REQUIREMENT

  • Evaluate employees and determine how each person can best help accomplish the job.

THE TRANSLATION

You know your crew—and you know how to put the right people in the right place when the work gets complicated.

Plain and Simple

Leadership here happens in the field.

Schedules change. Jobs run long. Travel happens. Conditions aren’t always comfortable.

You’ll be expected to know the work, lead the team, and take responsibility for how the job gets done.

The Practical Details

Schedule flexibility, travel, out-of-town work, weekends, overtime, PPE, and customer-site work may be required.

BUILT FOR BIG WORK

Whatever your role, your work makes impact in the real world.
