Role Overview
Penspen is seeking a Superintendent, Construction - Mechanical (Shutdown).
The role is a senior site leadership position for mechanical, piping, and equipment overhaul activities during planned plant shutdowns, turnarounds, or outages.
Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical, piping, and equipment overhaul activities during planned plant shutdowns, turnarounds, or outages.
- Manage mechanical construction and maintenance activities at the site.
- Oversee execution of major mechanical and piping turnarounds.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
- 15 to 20+ years of total oil and gas experience.
- Significant focus on mechanical and piping site construction, maintenance, and major turnarounds.
- Deep familiarity with international codes and standards such as ASME B31.3, API 650, and ASME Section IX.
- ADNOC experience is mandatory.
- Well versed in large shutdown activities and familiar with CICPA and related requirements.
