Success Academy Special Education Teacher (2026 - 2027) This vacancy is to create a pool of candidates for vacancies open during for the SY 2026/2027

The Success Academy is a transition-education program for students ages 18-21 who have an IEP and are pursuing a Maryland High School Certificate of Completion.

Students considered for the program have completed at least 4 years in a comprehensive high school, have had work experience and exhibit potential for competitive employment.

The program focuses on developing skills for independent living and functional academics and offers students a range of employment opportunities.

Work Year Calendar

  • 11-month position (207 days/year), 7 hours per day

Actual salary placement will be in accordance with the salary procedures of the Frederick County Public School System.
