SUBSTITUTE NURSE
Frelinghuysen Township School District is currently seeking applications from individuals
who are interested in becoming a substitute nurse:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Current NJ Nursing Certificate REQUIRED; NJ Substitute Certificate REQUIRED (we will
- help you obtain a substitute certification, if necessary). The substitute nurse must have
- on file his/her criminal background check.
REPORTS TO: Chief School Administrator
The Principal or an appropriately certificated designee.
Ability to demonstrate expertise in school health nursing practices and emergency procedures
Knowledge of child growth and development, community and family dynamics, current health issues, and wellness education
Knowledge of community health and social services resources and ability to communicate effectively with non-school health professionals and social service agencies.
