Substation Structural Engineer

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program (required);
• Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive structural engineering experience, preferably in the energy, utilities, or renewable power sectors.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in at least one U.S. state (or ability to obtain)
• Experience in structural analysis and design software including AutoCAD, STAAD.Pro, Lpile preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of applicable design codes (ASCE 7, ACI, AISC, NESC, IBC, etc.)
• Experience with the design and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Experience preparing construction documents, design calculations, and reviewing drawings
• Experience collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams for support project scopes
• Familiarity with compliance processes related to structural design in the U.S.
