Submissions Development Representative

Main Duties and Responsibilities

• This role aims to maximise the amount of research submissions we receive to carry out our research. The role will involve speaking to law firms about Chambers and about the benefits of sending their submissions to our research process (for which there is no monetary cost, but which is costly in terms of time and energy for them). This position in particular will focus on retention and re-engagement of firms that have previously submitted to Chambers. Previous experience in a client-facing role would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to work well under pressure, problem solve and be confident communicating with clients, team members and management. They will be highly organized and maintain accurate records. You will have the ability to identify submissions' leads and generate research submissions as well as build relationships both internally and externally, understanding the need to drive senior stakeholder engagement.
• Maximise submissions from outbound enquiries
• Build relationships with firms and "retain" previous years' submissions (submitting is an annual process)
• Achieve/exceed individual monthly/quarterly targets of client interactions and number of submissions
• Develop contacts/senior level relationships within new and dormant clients
• Be self-sufficient in generating appointments and activities that lead to submission retention
• Accurately record all information in company CRM (Salesforce)
