Subject Matter Expert - Web Development

Drive continuous improvement of web development programs by identifying and resolving curriculum gaps, content issues, and tooling defects while ensuring a high-quality learner experience.

This role combines academic expertise with practical software development knowledge to strengthen curriculum quality, improve learning platforms, and support scalable program delivery.

The role acts as a technical and academic subject matter authority, bridging curriculum, technology, and learner needs.

Own continuous review and enhancement of web development curriculum across programs.

Identify and resolve curriculum gaps, inaccuracies, outdated concepts, and learning experience issues.

Collaborate with Learning Managers and academic stakeholders to improve content quality and learner outcomes.

Design, review, and validate learning materials, projects, assessments, and practical exercises.

Ensure curriculum reflects current industry practices, tools, frameworks, and development standards.

Support creation of new content, modules, and learning resources where required.

Identify, investigate, and resolve curriculum-related and platform-related issues affecting learners and experts.

Act as the first line of technical analysis for tooling defects impacting learning delivery.

Partner with Product and Engineering teams to define, prioritize, and validate fixes.

Perform testing and quality checks for curriculum and platform updates before release.

Maintain documentation of recurring issues, root causes, and recommended improvements.
