About the Role
Esnad Contracting is looking for a Subcontract Administration Specialist to administer subcontractor interim payment certificates, ensuring accurate matching, retention, and tax handling.

Responsibilities
- Receive and process subcontractor interim payment certificates against active contracts and approved variation orders
- Perform a full match across the contract, engineer certification, retention, advance recovery, and back charges
- Calculate retention and advance recovery in line with contractual percentages and track remaining balances
- Apply documented back charges, value added tax, and withholding tax to each certificate
- Track advance payment, performance, and retention bonds, and raise alerts ahead of expiry
- Post approved payment certificates as vendor bills in the ERP
- Coordinate retention releases against partial completion, final completion, and defects liability milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or Civil Engineering with a commercial focus
- Three to five years in subcontract administration or project cost control within construction or contracting
- Strong understanding of interim payment certificates, retention, back to back terms, and bank guarantees
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP
- Fluent in Arabic and English

Job Purpose
- Administer subcontractor interim payment certificates from receipt to posting. Ensure each certificate is fully matched, correctly priced against the contract, and that retention, advance recovery, back charges, taxes, and bonds are accurately handled.
Key Responsibilities

Qualifications and Experience
