About the Role
Algonquin College seeks a Student Information Systems Architect for a temporary assignment.
The role involves leading the technical resource on the new ERP implementation of Unit4SM as the College’s new Student Information System.
The incumbent will be accountable for understanding detailed business architecture and supporting processes and determine the best approach to digitally automating them in U4SM.
Job Description
- Lead the technical resource on the new ERP implementation of Unit4SM as the College’s new Student Information System.
- Understand detailed business architecture and supporting processes and determine the best approach to digitally automating them in U4SM.
- Provide input to the Manager in the formation of technical strategy for the replacement of the current SIS and identification of key gaps and provide a roadmap to close those gaps.
- Be a key resource for high-level enterprise plans, and initiate and participate in projects to evaluate technologies and recommend methods for implementing these plans.
- Focus on the U4SM Platforms, which includes but not limited to Student Information Systems, Cloud solutions strategy and an integrated Automated Programming Interfaces (API) framework employed through all compatible systems.
- Be the lead resource for working with other teams to identify means to automate and replace current integrations and functionality.
