The Center for Leadership and Civic Engagement is hiring for the role of Project Assistant responsible for advancing generalized Center for Leadership & Civic Engagement needs, leadership education, training, and development in the CLCE and supporting a team of Professional staff, student staff and volunteers in the development, execution, and assessment of leadership programs, services, and initiatives. The Project Assistant role is also responsible for management of office processes and systems to support leadership development, and Civic Engagement needs.

Housed in the Marshall Student Center (MSC) the CLCE is an indoor, climate-controlled office.

Depending upon the nature of the assignment, this position may require substantial work in outdoor environments, and/or regular attendance and participation in meetings during evenings and occasionally weekends.

The majority of work involves sitting, standing, and walking in a typical office environment with a computer and related office tools.

Job duties may also require manual dexterity and lifting (up to 50 pounds).
