Structural Engineer - Waterfront – Entry/Junior Level

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with Structural coursework
• Master of Science in Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis strongly preferred
• Entry level to 2+ years of experience Previous experience or internship/cooperative education in heavy civil, structural, or marine/waterfront design is strongly preferred
• Previous experience or internship/cooperative education in heavy civil, structural, or marine/waterfront design is strongly preferred
• Engineer In Training certification
• Familiarity with AutoCAD or a comparable drafting platform
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as SAP2000 or a comparable equivalent
• Possession of or eligibility to obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
• All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171

Physical requirements:

Majority of work is office based.

Some site visits may be required which may necessitate navigating unpaved or natural terrain while carrying equipment.
