Purpose and Scope
Design structures able to withstand operating and transportation loads throughout the product life cycle.
Work on offshore topsides, modular buildings, trailers, tanks, skids, equipment frames, containers, cargo baskets, and other mobile structures.
Develop initial designs, calculate structural stresses, and model conditions such as high winds and dynamic loads.
Structural Engineering Responsibilities
- Perform static, dynamic, transportation, lifting, and connection analyses for structural projects.
- Prepare detailed engineering deliverables for offshore, onshore, industrial, and renewable structures.
- Coordinate with project, manufacturing, subcontractor, vendor, architect, contractor, and other engineering teams.
- Provide construction-phase technical support and review drawings and documentation for compliance.
- Conduct site visits, respond to client technical queries, and apply lessons learned from prior projects.
- Support cost optimization, project variations, contractual claims, and overall work execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
