Role Overview
An Oil and Gas manufacturing company is seeking an HVAC Engineer or Lead HVAC Engineer.
The role focuses on HVAC design and project delivery for modular technical buildings.
Qualifications
- Minimum 12 years of experience is required.
- Experience with HVAC design for modular technical buildings is required.
- Experience with Carrier HAP and HVAC design optimization is required.
- A strong understanding of the HVAC discipline is required.
- Familiarity with ASHRAE, CIBSE, and SMACNA industry standards is required.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD or 3D software is preferred.
Engineering and Design
- Propose economical solutions that meet client and project requirements.
- Develop timely and cost-effective HVAC deliverables from client information and specifications.
- Prepare datasheets, HVAC load calculations, design and control philosophies, I/O lists, D&IDs, and airflow diagrams.
- Prepare calculations for ESP, ventilation, fresh air, U-value, and duct heaters.
- Select equipment and instruments suitable for hazardous-area project requirements.
- Conduct 3D model reviews and provide construction support.
