Role Overview
Design, analyze, and implement cold-formed steel structures for residential, commercial, and industrial buildings.
Ensure structural components meet applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and quality expectations.
Qualifications
- B.E. or B.Tech in Civil Engineering, or M.E. or M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CFS structural design.
- Experience with US-based or international CFS projects is preferred.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of CFS systems, construction methods, structural analysis, load calculations, optimization, and design detailing.
- Design experience with CFS roof trusses, wall framing systems, and floor systems.
- Familiarity with US, Indian, or international codes and standards, including IBC and ASCE.
- Working knowledge of structural steel member and connection design, AISC codes, and anchor bolt design under ACI 318.
- Software knowledge includes STAAD Pro, Idea Statica, Limcon, AutoCAD, and FrameCAD.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design CFS walls, roofs, floors, and trusses, and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
