Structural Engineer - Bridge Focus - Senior Level

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline required. Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with structural emphasis preferred but not required.
• 10 or more years of design experience of bridge or marine structures. Design experience in both a plus.
• PE registration required
• Prior experience of working on VDOT or other DOT projects preferred.
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) MathCAD and Microstation (or AutoCAD) required
• Experience using: STAAD (required) SAP2000, CSiBridge, LARSA 4D, DESCUS, Bentley LEAP Bridge Suite (preferred)

Working conditions

Base salary range

• $120,000 to $160,000 based on years of experience, level of education obtained, professional registration, and meeting the required qualifications in the job description.
• Base salary range only applicable for candidates who will be hired and working in the Virginia market.
