We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer with 3-7 years of experience in our Jacksonville office.
As a Structural Engineer, you will work on multiple projects with general supervision and as part of a team on larger projects under a Senior Structural Engineer's guidance. Your role includes evaluation, analysis, calculations, and preparing drawings and specifications, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. You will collaborate with junior and senior engineers, architects, clients, and contractors. You’ll also resolve design and construction issues, adhere to project timelines and budgets, and continuously develop your technical skills. As you gain experience, you will take on more responsibility in project execution and management.

Bachelor’s degree in Architectural, Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 3 -7 years of experience.
EI required, PE/SE license in good standing preferred.
Due to the projects associated with this position, US Citizenship is required.
Strong understanding of structural systems, construction means and methods, materials, and industry standards.
Working knowledge of structural analysis and design software, including Revit, RISA, and Enercalc.
Experience in designing federal, public sector, education, wastewater treatment plants, and restoration projects.
Must be able to follow and properly apply market specific guidelines, the practices and policies of the associated local and building codes, discipline, divisions and firm.
Excellent organizational skills and effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to independently manage and design projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle deadline-driven tasks while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
