About the Role
Young Engineering Consultancy Services seeks a Structural Draftsman for a full-time, on-site role in Dubai. The candidate will prepare detailed structural and architectural shop drawings, coordinate with engineers, and ensure compliance with codes and standards using AutoCAD and BIM tools.

Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed structural and architectural shop drawings in coordination with engineering designs and project specifications
- Translate structural calculations and concepts into accurate technical drawings
- Update drawings based on engineer and client feedback
- Ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards
- Coordinate with structural and civil engineers
- Maintain drawing documentation and revisions
- Support the use of BIM tools where required
- Assist in preparing drawing sets for submissions, structural reviews, and repair projects
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 5 7 years experience as a structural draftsman
- Specialized in drafting reinforced concrete and steel structures
- Good knowledge in preparation of drawings with proper layouts, ctb, layers, scales
- Adept experience in creating/modifying/working on 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings
- Working experience in AutoCAD 3D modelling is a must
- Fast and efficient drafting to meet tight project deadlines
- Well versed/experienced in preparation of as built drawings
- Knowledge in basic design/concept of steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Preparation of drawings for Authority Submissions (DCD, DEWA, RTA, DM, ADM, etc)
- Knowledge on the authority requirements on the formats and documents
- Consultancy experience will be an added advantage
