Role Overview
Burns & McDonnell India is seeking a Structural Designer for its Global Facilities business unit.
The role provides a full range of structural CAD services for facility projects in food and beverage, consumer products, aerospace, life sciences, hyperscale data centers, commercial, healthcare, and utility sectors.
The position supports projects in the North American region from the Mumbai office.
Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D models and 2D drafts of foundations, steel, and general arrangement drawings.
- Prepare foundation details, plans, elevations, sections, and related construction drawings.
- Prepare steel detail drawings, plans, elevations, sections, and connection drawings.
- Produce road layouts, site grading and drainage details, location layouts, and key plans.
- Prepare bills of quantities and material take-offs.
- Develop drawings for underground pits, stairs, and ladders.
- Coordinate assigned work with other disciplines to generate clash-free designs.
- Advance engineering design responsibilities by working closely with the discipline lead engineer.
- Self-check work and produce accurate construction deliverables.
