Role Overview
The unique job role is Design Engineer (Civil) within the structural design function.

Job Purpose and Activities
- Develop probable quantity estimates for assigned projects.
- Prepare designs and drawings within the project scope.
- Adhere to schedule, quantity, quality, applicable codes, and accepted engineering practices.
- Support project leaders in presenting structural designs to clients.
- Research newer and emerging design methods and technologies.
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using codes, formulas, and engineering judgment.
- Coordinate with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Direct, supervise, and guide CADD personnel in preparing technical plans and drawings.
- Plan and conduct independent engineering work requiring judgment.
- Prepare or modify drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
- Use computer-aided engineering and design software.
