Structural Engineer position with an engineering consultancy firm in Dubai.
The source title identifies the role as Structural Design Engineer.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in structural design and engineering consultancy.
- Valid Society of Engineers UAE membership card is required.
- Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality regulations and authority approvals is required.
- Approval for G+12 or G+4 projects is preferred.
- Experience designing villas, residential buildings, commercial buildings, and multi-storey projects.
- Proficiency in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, AutoCAD, and related engineering tools.
- Ability to prepare structural drawings, calculations, reports, and complete design documentation.
- Good communication and coordination with architects, MEP engineers, contractors, and authorities.
- UAE experience is highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and review structural designs and calculations.
- Coordinate with project teams and authorities for approvals.
- Ensure designs comply with local codes, standards, and project requirements.
- Support site and technical teams when required.
- Review structural drawings and provide engineering solutions during project execution.
