Role Description
- This is a full time remote role for a Strategic Sourcing Manager at ML Nashik.
- The Strategic Sourcing Manager will develop and implement sourcing strategies to support the organization’s technology, services, and operational needs, with a focus on cost effectiveness, quality, and reliability.
Day to Day Responsibilities
- Identifying and qualifying suppliers, conducting supplier evaluations, leading contract negotiations, and managing procurement processes from requirement definition through award.
- Driving supplier development initiatives, monitoring supplier performance, mitigating supply risks, and collaborating closely with internal stakeholders.
- Maintaining accurate sourcing documentation, analyzing spend data, and continuously looking for opportunities to optimize the supplier base and total cost of ownership.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Supplier Management.
- Proficiency in Procurement and Supplier Development.
- Demonstrated expertise in Contract Negotiation.
- Experience with strategic sourcing methodologies, cost analysis, and total cost of ownership concepts.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross functional environment with clear communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, data driven decision making, and problem solving skills; proficiency with spreadsheets and procurement or ERP tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in technology, software, or engineering focused organizations is beneficial; familiarity with machine learning or AI ecosystems is a plus.
