Role Overview
Supports sourcing strategies, supplier evaluation, procurement activities, negotiations, and cost optimization.
Focuses on supplier suitability, market and commercial analysis, supplier relationships, quality, value, and business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Support supplier identification, evaluation, selection, onboarding, qualification, reviews, and development.
- Research suppliers, industry trends, pricing movements, market conditions, and sourcing opportunities.
- Analyze quotations, costs, specifications, capabilities, and commercial proposals.
- Prepare RFQs, RFPs, supplier comparisons, evaluation templates, contracts, and procurement records.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement, finance, operations, quality, and engineering stakeholders.
- Support negotiations and cost-saving, benchmarking, value-optimization, and supply-continuity initiatives.
- Monitor supplier performance, sourcing KPIs, pricing trends, and supply, cost, quality, capacity, and continuity risks.
- Maintain accurate supplier databases, sourcing records, pricing information, and confidential procurement documentation.
- Follow company policies, procurement procedures, ethical standards, and confidentiality requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in supply chain management, procurement, business administration, finance, economics, engineering, or a related field.
