Savvee Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Strategic Communications Specialist to support our federal client on-site in Washington, D.C.
The ideal candidate is a versatile communicator with expertise in message development, stakeholder engagement, and multi-channel content creation.
As a key player on the team, you will lead and support communications initiatives that advance the client’s mission, foster transparency, and promote organizational priorities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Developing key messages and content for communications deliverables.
- Developing new and maintaining existing internal and external client communications deliverables including but not limited to talking points, blogs, fact sheets, briefings and briefing books, online content, internal announcements, brochures, white papers, presentations, and overview documents used at various external client events.
- Creating graphic visualizations to meet client needs such as flyers, documents, and web features.
- Building and maintaining a trusting relationship with the client.
- Understanding the client’s priorities and providing creative ideas and strategic thought to support their mission.
- Coordinating scheduling, agendas, materials, participant lists and action items for multiple working groups and councils.
- Facilitating client meetings and maintaining all aspects of meeting coordination, keeping meetings on time and on agenda and following up on action items.
- Developing and maintaining program organizational charts and stakeholder outreach matrices.
- Coordinating development and tracking responses to requests for information from other government agencies.
- Leading and supporting communications focused on projects and initiatives.
- Leading and facilitating client meetings and exercises.
- Compiling, analyzing, and presenting metrics from all CG-092 offices and divisions using industry leading software (i.e. Cision, Sprout Social, Google Analytics).
- Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client.
- Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support. REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications or a related field WITH six or more years of relevant experience, OR
