Job Summary
The STP O&M Engineer / Operator will handle operation, maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of sewage treatment plants at client and project sites.
Workplace
- The role is based in Bengaluru and involves work at client or project sites.
- Work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor STP systems and equipment daily.
- Ensure proper functioning of pumps, blowers, motors, agitators, filters, and dosing systems.
- Monitor pH, TDS, COD, BOD, MLSS, and DO water quality parameters.
- Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Troubleshoot equipment and process-related issues.
- Maintain operation logs, checklists, and maintenance records.
- Monitor chemical dosing and ensure proper chemical usage.
- Coordinate with technicians, electricians, plumbers, and site personnel.
- Ensure treated water quality meets required standards.
- Inspect tanks, pipelines, pumps, valves, and other equipment regularly.
- Report operational and maintenance issues to the reporting manager.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain cleanliness at the STP site.
