Job Summary
Install, commission, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot solar water heating and heat pump systems.
Work with heat pump units, water tanks, pumps, pipelines, valves, electrical systems, and refrigeration circuits.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot solar heat pump systems.
- Install heat pump units, water tanks, pumps, pipelines, valves, and solar water heating systems.
- Complete electrical and mechanical connections for heat pump systems.
- Check refrigerant pressure, temperature, water flow, and system performance.
- Diagnose problems involving compressors, condensers, evaporators, expansion valves, pumps, sensors, and controllers.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance on heat pump systems.
- Identify refrigerant leaks and complete repair and charging activities.
- Check electrical panels, wiring, contactors, relays, MCBs, and motors.
- Monitor efficiency, water temperature, pressure, and energy consumption.
- Test and commission newly installed systems.
- Resolve customer and site technical complaints.
- Maintain service reports, maintenance records, and daily work reports.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- ITI or diploma in mechanical, electrical, refrigeration and air conditioning, or a related technical field.
