- Proven experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a food or hospitality environment
- Familiarity with inventory software (ERP systems like ERPNext is advantageous)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, stock management tools)

Overview
- We are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Storekeeper to lead and manage our kitchen store.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store raw food items, ingredients, and packaging materials
- Maintain accurate stock records using inventory management software (e.g., Odoo, ERPNext or similar)
- Conduct daily/weekly physical stock checks and reconcile with system records
- Coordinate with the procurement and kitchen teams to ensure timely availability of required items
- Forecast stock needs based on menu planning and consumption trends
- Avoid overstocking or understocking of key ingredients
- Ensure all items are stored in compliance with food safety and HACCP standards (FIFO, temperature control, labeling)
- Keep the store area clean, organized, and pest free at all times
- Maintain GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), issue slips, and damage/return logs
- Submit regular inventory status reports to kitchen management
- Flag near expiry or slow moving stock in a timely manner
- Track usage patterns for continuous improvement in planning
Requirements
- Proven experience as a storekeeper, preferably in a food or hospitality environment
- Knowledge of dietary food components (e.g., gluten free, keto, diabetic friendly ingredients) is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory software (ERP systems like ERPNext is advantageous)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy (Excel, stock management tools)
