Overview
We are looking for a storekeeper with attention to detail and a team player to join our team.
He will work closely with purchasing departmentand will be in charge of the food and beverages store.
Responsibilities
- Replenish supply inventories following established guidelines of the company.
- Maintain a neat, clean, and safe working environment as per government regulation.
- Manage the store layout.
- Receive,upload, and shelf all supplies.
- Inspect deliveries for discrepancy or damage.
- Report damaged inventories for record-keeping and reimbursement.
- Rotate stock and dispose of surplus and expired quantities.
- Keep an organized allocation of inventory placed in warehouse and store.
- Cross-verify the monthly report at the end of each month.
- Ensure proper completion of documentation to place an order and make a purchase.
- Maintain par stock, inventory, and stock records every month.
- Compiles records of expenditures/consumptions etc
- Ensure storage of goods follows the first in first out (FIFO) method.
Requirements
· Positive attitude and good communication skills.
· Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations.
· Ability to work on your own or as part of a team.
· Have a good eye for detail.
· Familiar with inventory management.
· Must have basic computerskills for the day to day operation.
· Previous store management experience with stock control responsibility
· Experience of at least two years in a similar positionin the full service hotelor hospitalityindustry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
