Job Summary
Manage site materials, maintain accurate inventory control, and support site operations by maintaining smooth material flow.
Work Location
- The work location is in person.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store construction materials and tools.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or digital systems.
- Issue materials to site teams according to approved requisitions.
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for timely material availability.
- Monitor minimum stock levels and raise purchase requests when needed.
- Ensure safety and housekeeping standards within the store area.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Storekeeper in the contracting sector is required; 2–5 years is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and tools is required.
- Excellent record-keeping and organizational skills are required.
- Basic computer skills are required; MS Excel is specified and inventory software is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment is required.
