Job Purpose
Manage the receipt, inspection, rotation, storage, inventory, and issuance of a wide variety of spare parts.
Support daily operational requirements related to equipment and spare parts.
Principal Accountabilities
- Receive, store, and issue parts, materials, and equipment while maintaining records of movements.
- Identify bin numbers, tag approved items, place them on shelves, and verify inventory records.
- Update system records with receipt details, item locations, and item codes.
- Compare physical stock counts with inventory computations and investigate discrepancies or adjustments.
- Ensure parts pickers follow standard operating procedures.
- Maintain 5S activities in the workplace.
- Perform other related duties assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Required Qualifications
- High school education or diploma.
- Understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Good communication skills.
- Two years of experience.
