This full-time (37.5 hours per week) position reports to the Senior Director of Communications, in the Office of Marketing & Communications, and is responsible for planning, coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations of the on-campus and online stores. Order, price, stock and maintain proper levels of merchandise for both the campus and online stores
Cover store during hours of operation including, customer service, cashiering, processing, fulfillment and shipping of products
Coordinate with the six schools for ordering art supplies
Periodically provide merchandise for and work events on campus
General office work including reviewing and submitting invoices for payment
Organize and perform annual physical inventory count for both the campus and online store merchandise
Works closely with the Marketing & Communications design staff to design new products that promote CalArts and its brand
Works closely with the Marketing & Communications team to design, execute and analyze store promotions to make recommendations and adjust merchandise Implement and maintain policies and procedures for store operations
