- Receive and inspect deliveries, checking quantities, weights, and prices against purchase orders
- Reject spoiled, damaged, or expired items
- Ensure temperature sensitive goods are delivered within safe food safety zones
- Organize storerooms, freezers, and dry pantries using FIFO rotation
- Conduct routine physical inventory checks and reconcile against POS or inventory software
- Log breakages, expired items, and spills to accurately calculate food costs
Requirements
- Experience in storekeeping or inventory management in a restaurant or food service environment
- Knowledge of FIFO stock rotation
- Ability to perform physical inventory counts and audits
- Attention to detail for quality control of deliveries

Job Overview
- A restaurant storekeeper manages food and non food supplies, balancing inventory to minimize waste and ensure the kitchen and bar are fully stocked.
Receiving & Inspection
- Verify Deliveries: Cross check incoming shipments with purchase orders and delivery notes (checking for correct quantities, weights, and prices).
- Quality Control: Reject spoiled, damaged, or expired items.
- Temperature Checks: Ensure temperature sensitive goods (meat, dairy, seafood) are delivered within safe food safety zones.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Stock Rotation: Organize storerooms, freezers, and dry pantries so older stock is used first.
- Daily/Weekly Audits: Conduct routine physical inventory checks and reconcile them against your Point of Sale (POS) or inventory software.
- Waste Tracking: Log breakages, expired items, and spills to accurately calculate food costs.
Pay
- AED 1,500.00 AED 2,000.00 per month
