Position Objective
Receive, inspect, store, and issue merchandise for use in the shop.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive merchandise and count it physically and electronically to ensure inventory information is accurate.
- Inspect product quality and report damaged products or discrepancies to store management.
- Classify and stock products in the stockroom according to store procedures for quick availability.
- Tag newly arrived stock and process returned products according to senior instructions.
- Assist sales staff in replenishing stock on shelves to maintain product availability.
- Maintain security awareness in the store and uphold housekeeping standards.
- Work extended hours during sale and festival periods when required.
- Record inbound and outbound inventory and maintain the related report.
- Check for missing price tags and report them.
- Assist during stock take processes.
Requirements
- Be physically fit and able to perform heavy lifting of at least 10 kg.
- Be flexible to work extended hours during sale and festival periods.
