Responsibilities
- Manage daily stewarding department operations.
- Supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate stewarding staff.
- Ensure kitchen utensils, cookware, crockery, cutlery, and equipment are cleaned and sanitized to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness across kitchens, storage areas, dishwashing stations, and waste disposal areas.
- Monitor supplies and control stewarding labor costs within budget.
- Coordinate with the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage team for restaurant and banquet operations.
- Oversee waste management, recycling, and preventive maintenance for kitchen equipment.
- Conduct inspections, implement corrective actions, and enforce hotel policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 1 to 2 years of experience in the same position.
- Strong leadership, team management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving abilities.
- Good knowledge of HACCP, food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards.
