The Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen and food service areas, ensuring proper sanitation and supporting kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas.
- Ensure proper dishwashing and sanitation procedures.
- Dispose of waste according to hygiene standards.
- Support chefs and kitchen staff when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of storage and service areas.
- Follow health and safety regulations (HACCP).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in kitchen or stewarding preferred.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Basic understanding of hygiene standards.
