Job Summary
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, proper handling, and timely processing of all hotel linens, uniforms, and guest laundry, maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, and fold hotel linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect items for stains or damage and apply appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area.
- Ensure proper use of chemicals and detergents according to safety standards.
- Deliver clean laundry to designated departments or guest rooms on time.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in laundry operations or housekeeping is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
