About the Role
Tecnicas Reunidas seeks an experienced Steel Structure Superintendent to lead and coordinate steel structure construction activities at a major project in Ras Laffan, Qatar. The role involves managing subcontractors, ensuring schedule, quality, and HSE compliance, and interfacing with engineering and procurement.

Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate steel structure construction activities performed by subcontractors
- Review IFC drawings, engineering instructions, and method statements to supervise site works
- Conduct weekly meetings with subcontractors to validate and consolidate upcoming activities
- Assist Planning and Production Control Departments in updating steel structure plans
- Ensure daily production is evaluated and loaded into the system by supervisors
- Evaluate supervisor performance and organize workflow
- Check that adequate subcontractor manpower and tools are available for each task
- Manage material dispatched to subcontractor and ensure efficient use and preservation
- Provide on site coordination and walk daily work areas to monitor activities
- Follow up on quality control programs and promote mock ups and toolbox talks
- Ensure red marked drawings include all as built changes
- Supervise close out of steel structure punches during handover stage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil, Structural, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience
- At least 7 10 years in Steel Structure Supervision or Superintendent roles
- Extensive experience in structural steel erection, fabrication, installation, alignment, and bolting
- Experience on EPC projects within Oil & Gas, LNG, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or Industrial Construction
- Experience supervising subcontractors, construction supervisors, and multidisciplinary site teams
- Ability to coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Planning, Quality, Commissioning, and Client representatives
- Excellent leadership, communication, problem solving, and decision making skills
- Ability to work in multicultural environments and manage multiple priorities under tight schedules
- Fluent in English
