Job Summary

The Station Manager is responsible for the overall management of station/terminal operations, including maintenance of terminal/station and fleet, EV charging stations, and loading/offloading activities.

The role ensures smooth operations, compliance with safety standards, and high service quality.

Operations Management

  • Oversee daily station and terminal operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance.
  • Manage loading and offloading activities, ensuring adherence to procedures and operational accuracy.
  • Ensure the facility (yard, workshop, and operational areas) is well-maintained, clean, and organized.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment when required.

Maintenance

  • Ensure daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and timely repairs for terminal/station and fleet.
  • Maintain proper documentation for all maintenance activities and vehicle records.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and transport providers when needed.

Ev Charging Stations

  • Oversee the operation and maintenance of EV charging stations.
  • Ensure optimal performance, minimal downtime, and proper servicing.
  • Monitor usage and coordinate with service providers for technical support.

Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with HSE policies, regulations, and operational standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections, safety drills, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor firefighting systems and emergency readiness.
  • Handle incident reporting and ensure corrective actions are implemented.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and manage operators, and technical staff.
  • Plan shifts, monitor performance, and provide training when needed.
  • Address operational or behavioral issues promptly.

Customer & Service Support

  • Ensure timely and efficient loading and offloading activities.
  • Resolve operational issues such as delays, breakdowns, or service disruptions.
  • Maintain coordination with internal teams to meet customer requirements.

Administration & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records and proper documentation of operations.
  • Monitor KPIs and prepare operational reports.
  • Control operational expenses and identify efficiency improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).

Competencies**

Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal).

Good understanding of safety regulations and maintenance practices

Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Organized, detail-oriented, with ability to detect and address abnormal activities promptly.

Experience**

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in in terminal, fleet, or operations management.

Proven experience in managing teams and operational facilities.
