Role Overview
The State Business Head owns end-to-end offline lead generation and business growth for an assigned state.
The role is field-intensive and focused on B2B2C outreach, institutional relationships, team leadership, and operational execution.
The role directly manages 4+ managers and 20+ executives.
Core Responsibilities
- Create and implement school and college outreach strategies targeting 12th-grade students.
- Research institutions, identify decision-makers, deliver presentations, conduct closing discussions, and manage follow-ups through student demos.
- Hire, train, and monitor the assigned territory team.
- Track daily KPIs, provide feedback, support employee development, and drive team performance.
- Build relationships with educational institutions, channel partners, and stakeholders.
- Plan state-level and zone-level offline outreach activities, including BTL activities.
- Identify, onboard, train, and support channel partners while monitoring performance.
- Analyze territory potential and competitors to identify expansion opportunities.
Operations and Governance
- Use customer, student, and education-partner feedback to develop business strategies.
