Role Overview
Lightspeed is seeking a Staff Technical Program Manager to own a shared Product Development Lifecycle execution model across Product, Engineering, and Design.
This is a founding role responsible for defining the model, aligning stakeholders, and proving its value.
Core Responsibilities
- Design a PDLC framework across Product, Engineering, Design, and all Lightspeed products.
- Define stage-specific artifacts, checkpoints, exit criteria, and standards.
- Establish trustworthy metrics for work flow, bottlenecks, and exception tracking.
- Align leaders across verticals and drive adoption without forcing inappropriate consistency.
- Define human and AI agent responsibilities at each PDLC stage.
- Partner with Engineering on AI delivery pilots and measure their impact and return on investment.
- Review the framework as a living system and report program health to senior leadership.
What You Need to Bring
- Experience designing or significantly evolving delivery frameworks, execution models, or program management systems.
- Experience leading cross-functional operational change and turning skepticism into adoption.
- Experience building measurement systems from ambiguous or inconsistent data.
- Experience applying AI or automation with Engineering and measuring delivery acceleration.
