Role Overview
Serve as the technical leader for a global business division at a strategic leadership level.
Shape technical direction, oversee the technical landscape, and align technology choices with enterprise architecture standards.
Combine strategic architecture leadership with hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer support for delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain divisional technology strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture.
- Own the technical landscape, standards, integration patterns, and reference architectures.
- Represent the division in Architecture Review Board decisions.
- Align divisional needs with enterprise platforms and shared capabilities.
- Create reusable standards and delivery efficiencies that can scale across divisions.
- Advise senior business and Digital leaders on practical technical choices and outcomes.
- Define responsible use of AI, automation, and modern engineering practices.
- Mentor engineering and delivery teams through influence rather than direct authority.
- Uphold reliability, security, documentation, observability, resilience, and operational excellence.
