The Principal Technical Architect is a senior technical leader accountable for the technical strategy and architecture of a key digital platform.
The role defines a modern, secure, scalable, reusable platform direction aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
The role translates ambiguous enterprise and divisional needs into target architecture and guides the teams that build and operate the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the platform technical strategy, roadmap, and target-state architecture.
- Act as design authority for technical standards, architecture decisions, and integration patterns.
- Lead and develop engineering teams building and operating the platform.
- Partner with senior leaders, product owners, and divisional teams on technical choices and measurable outcomes.
- Apply AI, automation, and modern engineering practices responsibly with governance and verification.
