Role Overview
Staff Software Engineer role within Okta's Technology Data and Intelligence team.
Builds secure, scalable internal business solutions with a focus on reliability, intelligent automation, and Salesforce.
Provides end-to-end technical services from design and configuration through development, testing, automation, and deployment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and implement secure, scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, and configuration tools.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and Salesforce solution designs.
- Build integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
- Develop serverless solutions with AWS Lambda and other cloud-native services.
- Build intelligent automation with Python, LangChain, LangGraph, Amazon Bedrock, and related AI frameworks.
- Design conversational workflows, internal copilots, and AI agents for employee productivity and customer support operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide estimates and feasibility assessments.
- Develop features across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud Console, Experience Cloud, and related Salesforce environments.
- Own delivery from discovery through deployment and maintain documentation.
- Create and execute unit, integration, functional, and automation tests.
