Role Overview
DISCO builds cloud-native legal technology focused on efficient, data-oriented, and fact-based legal outcomes.
The role contributes hands-on technical work and guides the long-term evolution of software systems.
The position focuses on high availability, high performance, scalability, security, privacy, and cost efficiency.
What You'll Do
- Engage in coding, code reviews, and technical discussions to ensure high-quality output.
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable, high-performance distributed systems.
- Continuously enhance system performance using scalable distributed-systems best practices.
- Share knowledge and mentor junior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
Who You Are
- Have 10+ years of relevant backend engineering experience.
- Have built large-scale, highly responsive, fault-tolerant services in SaaS and cloud-based applications.
- Have experience with reliable services backed by relational and non-relational data stores.
- Have expertise in highly available, high-performance distributed systems and operational observability.
